The Federal Program Compliance Division administers a random validation monitoring process for ensuring that LEAs are in compliance with the requirements associated with the following ESSA programs/requirements.

The Federal Program Compliance Division provided an overview of the 2023-2024 Random Validations Process on September 26, 2023, from 9:30 am - 11:30 am.

Training Description: Attendees will learn about the overall process, timelines, and the program requirements that will be included in the 2023-2024 random validations for the following programs/requirements: Title I, Part A—Improving Basic Programs; Title I, Part A Supplement, Not Supplant; Title I, Part C—Education of Migratory Children; Title I, Part D, Subpart 2—Prevention and Intervention Programs for Children and Youth Who Are Neglected, Delinquent, or At-Risk; Title II, Part A—Supporting Effective Instruction; Title IV, Part A—Student Support and Academic Enrichment Grants; Title V, Part B—Rural and Low-Income School Program; Private Nonprofit School Equitable Services (PNP); Ed-Flex Title I, Part A Schoolwide Eligibility Waiver; and Unsafe School Choice Option.
