Technology Applications TEKS Guide 101: August 2026 Sessions Announced

The Technology Applications TEKS Guide provides educators across the state with a common understanding of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for technology applications, including a deep dive into each student expectation, vertical alignment, and cross-curricular connections with foundation and enrichment content areas. For those who were not able to attend the January 2026 TEKS Guide 101 sessions, TEA will host a repeat set of webinars to support educators in navigating the TEKS Guide and using the components effectively. Registration links are provided below by session focus area. Future engagement sessions will be announced through TEA newsletters.

This technology applications web page provides clarification, guidance, and support to technology applications stakeholders, including districts, schools, parents, educators, and students, for the development and implementation of the K–8 technology applications Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).

Technology Applications TEKS 

In 2022, the State Board of Education gave final approval to revised TEKS for technology applications which are scheduled to be implemented beginning with the 2024–2025 school year.
