Magali has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Special Education. She brings over seven years of experience in Early Childhood. As a former first-grade bilingual teacher, special education campus leader, and manager of the Reading Academies program, Magali has developed expertise in foundational literacy and a strong understanding of the significance of early childhood education. In her role as an Early Childhood Assessment Specialist, Magali is excited to utilize her skills in assessment, foundational literacy, and data analytics to drive effective strategies within the division. With a passion for closing educational equity gaps and a global perspective from her diverse background, she is dedicated to providing quality education for all children. Magali is honored to be part of the TEA team and contribute to the advancement of early childhood education in Texas, creating equitable and inclusive learning experiences for young learners.
