Brandi Carter is the Family Engagement Director in the Early Childhood Education Division of the Office of School Programs. She holds a master’s degree in Child Development from Michigan State University. She joins TEA after spending many years as a consultant, where she trained teachers and directors on improving quality as well as helping over 300 schools achieve NAEYC accreditation. Having most recently worked as Executive Director of a private preschool, she is looking forward to continuing the work in supporting early childhood programs and serving children throughout the state of Texas.
