SPPI 11: Measurement

State Performance Plan Indicator (SPPI) 11 measures the percent of children who were evaluated within 60 days of receiving parental consent for initial evaluation or, if the State establishes a timeframe within which the
evaluation must be conducted, within that timeframe. Texas establishes a state timeline in Texas Administrative Code §89.1011.

SPPI 11: Data Source

The data source for SPPI 11 is the Texas Student Data System (TSDS) Child Find (CF) collection. LEAs submit student level data for children who had an eligibility determination date during the annual data collection period.

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) follows a train-the-trainer model, where TEA trains the regional education service center Child Find (CF) Champions, and the CF Champions then support local education agencies.

Programmatic and technical questions should be submitted via the TSDS Incident Management System (TIMS) available within the TSDS Portal.
