The Office of Special Populations and Monitoring (OSPM) at the Texas Education Agency (TEA) is responsible for meeting state and federal public reporting requirements tied to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The IDEA, Texas Education Code (TEC), and Texas Administrative Code (TAC) provide federal and state legislative authority for data collection and reporting.
