PDSES Student Application Process

The SSES application is closed. The application will open again on February 3, 2025, as the Parent-Directed Special Education Services (PDSES) application.
Supplemental Special Education Services (SSES) is now Parent-Directed Special Education Services (PDSES).
The PDSES program is the same as the SSES program, just with a new name to better reflect the importance of parents as decision makers in the educational process.
Student Application Process
The SSES application is closed. The application will open again on February 3, 2025, as the Parent-Directed Special Education Services (PDSES) application.
If you have previously submitted an application:
- Families (applicants) will receive a confirmation email stating that their application has been received.
- Families with applications on a waitlist or a “waiting to be processed” status, will receive a monthly email with a status update.
- Applications are processed and reviewed in the order they are received.
- Families will receive notice of eligibility or denial.
If found eligible:

- Family accounts are created to use the online PDSES marketplace.
- An email is sent from info@ClassWallet with family account information and how to access PDSES marketplace. Please check your spam/junk folder if you have not received this email.
- Families can then login and shop online on the PDSES marketplace for educational good and services for their eligible child.
- Families must login and sign the parental affidavit within 30-days.
If found NOT eligible:

- If a family receives a denial letter from the PDSES/SSES program, they can appeal the denial by providing proper documentation – the denial letter includes all of the information needed to appeal the decision. If you would like to appeal a denial and did not receive this information in an email, you can reach out to PDSEShelp@region10.org and request the appeal form.
- The TEA processes appeals in the order in which they are received.
- Families will receive their appeal decision through email.
- Families of students found not eligible for the PDSES program are able to re-apply during the next application window.
