TELPAS Released Tests Grades 2–12

The TEA provides TELPAS released tests in the online interface used for the spring administration. Districts can administer these released tests to students for diagnostic purposes. TestNav 8 does not generate a test summary. If you would like to score your student’s practice test, you should direct your student to record his or her answers on a separate sheet of paper. You can then use the answer key below to score the reading released test and the listening and speaking released test. To determine a student’s proficiency level ratings in reading and listening, use the appropriate TELPAS raw score conversion table. Use the links below to access Spring 2020, 2017, and 2014 released tests.

NOTE: Students must complete tests in one sitting. Students' answers cannot be saved to resume later.
