Adopted State Board for Educator Certification Rules - Subject to SBOE Review
The State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) has adopted the following rule actions subject to the State Board of Education (SBOE) review required by the Texas Education Code, §21.042. If the SBOE reviews and takes no action on a rule, the agency will file it with the Texas Register and determine a future effective date. You can view rules that have been filed with the Texas Register and are awaiting their effective dates on the page Adopted State Board for Educator Certification Rules - Not Yet Effective.
Rule text is presented in PDF format. If you do not have a PDF reader, you may download the Adobe Acrobat Reader for free from the Adobe website.
If there are changes to rule text since it was published as proposed, the changes are shown in red.
The SBEC agenda provides detailed information on these rules.
Currently, there are no SBEC rules adopted, subject to SBOE review.
