Summary: The adopted revisions clarify and align requirements related to instructional arrangements, eligibility and placement, general program operations, and the distribution and allowable use of state special education funds and update approval, oversight, reporting, and funding requirements for residential and day placement programs to align with House Bill 2 and Senate Bill 568, 89th Texas Legislature, Regular Session, 2025. The revisions were adopted with changes since published as proposed.
