Title I, Part A — Education Service Center (ESC) Contacts

Through the ESSA Basic Services Initiative, TEA has provided each Education Service Center (ESC) with Title I, Part A funds to provide the following to LEAs:

Training for Federal Program Directors in the Fall and the Spring
Training on the Schoolwide Program Elements
Training on the LEA Title I, Part A Program Plan
Training on Parent and Family Engagement (PFE)
- Module 1: Parent and Family Engagement Requirements Overview
- Module 2: LEA PFE Policy, Campus PFE Policy, and Compact
- Module 3: PFE Program/Policy Evaluation and Annual Title I Meeting
- Module 4: Building Capacity for PFE
Technical assistance and support related to comprehensive needs assessment requirements, campus improvement plan requirements, PFE requirements, the ESSA Consolidated Federal Grant Application, the Title I, Part A LEA Program Plan, ESSA Consolidated Compliance Reports, the Title I, Part A Supplement, Not Supplant Methodology, Title I, Part A Equitable Services for Private Schools, and Random Validations.
