Title I, Part A Campus Eligibility—Before you can allocate Title I, Part A funds to campuses, you have to be sure that the campuses are eligible!  Participants will learn how to determine which campuses are eligible for Title I, Part A services.  We will explore the rules for rank and serve, grade-span grouping, and feeder patterns.

This session will provide guidance to LEAs on increasing the success of collaborative and ongoing consultation meetings with private nonprofit (PNP) schools receiving equitable services.  Participants will hear ‘how to make a deal’ during ongoing consultation meetings by focusing on federal program requirements, PNP needs, priorities, program plans, students, and staff. Collaborative Comprehensive Needs Assessment (CCNA) - Session ID 75372

TEA will showcase a new resource that brings together the Comprehensive Needs Assessment (CNA) requirements and recommendations for Title I, Part A; Title I, Part C; Title II, Part A; Title III, Part A; and Title IV, Part A. The Collaborative Comprehensive Needs Assessment (CCNA) is a means for LEAs to work together, collaboratively with a common purpose to ensure federal programs compliance and coordination of federal programs.  The tool will provide an efficient use of time rather than duplication of effort; ensure that the CCNA is a comprehensive process rather than an event; and establish a culture of continuous improvement to maximize the use of federal funds.  CCNA is not a TEA or program requirement.  It is to be used as a tool and a resource.
