Virtual Training Literacy For All:

This virtual, synchronous Literacy for All training is two full days (8:30-4:00). The focus of the training is on designing inclusive literacy learning environments with the following three objectives: 

  • Build knowledge and understanding of the science of teaching reading. 
  • Understand how learning abilities impact reading. 
  • Utilize instructional strategies to reduce the impact of disabilities in learning how to read. 

Day 1 –  November 11th (8:30 – 4:00)

Day 2 – November 18th (8:30 – 4:00)

Please Note: Literacy for ALL has met capacity for training for November 11th and November 18th.  Please email sped@tea.texas.gov  if you are interested in joining the waitlist for this training!

 

Virtual Training Math For All:

This virtual, synchronous training will focus on building knowledge and understanding of how learning abilities impact learning and identify instructional strategies to reduce the impact of disabilities in understanding whole number addition and subtraction for kindergarten through 3rd grade.
