Adopted Amendment to 19 TAC Chapter 103, Health and Safety, Subchapter DD, Commissioner's Rules Concerning Video Surveillance of Certain Special Education Settings, §103.1301, Video Surveillance of Certain Special Education Settings
Summary: The adopted amendment replaces the term "self-contained classroom" with "special education classroom" and clarifies the definitions for classroom settings in accordance with House Bill 2 and Senate Bill 568, 89th Texas Legislature, Regular Session, 2025. No changes were made to the rule since published as proposed.
Effective Date: March 14, 2026
