PID Search with PID Details

EDIT+ users with PID Search privileges query a copy of the PID database for a particular person. Users search on one or more of the following identifying data elements: Social Security number or state alternative identification number, first name, last name, and date of birth. (See the Helpful Links for detailed information on state assigned numbers.)

Once a PID search is complete, results are displayed on the PID Detail page. Information on this page includes: the PID record, the submitting district, the PID change log, and PET (PID Enrollment Tracking) event history. Consult the PEIMS EDIT+ User Reference and Training Guide for detailed information on how to conduct a PID search and interpret the results displayed on the PID Detail page.

Users may also query the Unique-ID database. This database maintains a unique identifier database entry for every student and staff within the Texas public school and open enrollment charter system. The Unique-ID and PID databases are synchronized. Search on one or more of the following identifying data elements: Texas State Student or Staff Unique-ID, Social Security number or state alternative identification number, first name, last name, and date of birth.
