SUBJECT: Cyber Security Tips and Tools webinar series

TEA would like to inform Education Service Centers, school districts, and open-enrollment charter schools of an upcoming opportunity to participate in a series of webinars being conducted by TEA.  The webinars will be led by TEA's Chief Information Security Officer, Frosty Walker, in collaboration with the Data Security Advisory Committee (DSAC) to provide insight into the Cyber Security Tips and Tools.  

Data Security Advisory Committee
The Data Security Advisory Committee consists of members of school districts and Education Service Centers (ESCs) to provide guidance to Texas education communities, to maximize collaboration and communication regarding information security issues and resources which can be utilized within the communities served. The DSAC has reviewed and recommended the Tips and Tools which have been shared on the https://www.texasgateway.org portal.
