The purpose of the Texas Quality Charter Schools Program Grant is to support the growth of high-quality charter schools in Texas, especially those focused on improving academic outcomes for educationally disadvantaged students. This will be achieved through administering the 2023-2025 Charter School Program Grant (Subchapter C and D) to assist eligible applicants in opening and preparing for the operation of newly-authorized charter schools and replicated high-quality schools.

This grant project supports school districts in the leadership and strategic planning of an individual student planning system, aligned to the Effective Advising Framework (EAF), with technical assistance provided by new Effective Advising Framework Planning Coaches (EAF Coaches) who are working toward designation. ">The specific purpose of this grant project is to support the identification and training of new EAF Coaches located regionally at the Education Service Center, and for the EAF Coaches to convene and coach a minimum of two school districts through the assessment of current advising practices and development of a strategic plan for individual student planning aligned to the levers, essential actions, and key practices of the EAF.
