Having Problems printing the form?

Some internet browsers automatically open the PDF in preview mode. If you have problems printing the form, close the form in your browser, then open the PDF with Adobe Reader/Acrobat.  

Mac Users with no [Print] button

Your Mac may open the document in Preview mode. There will be no[Print] button in the upper right corner.  Close preview and open the document using Adobe Reader.

2025-2026 HRG Forms 

This information is addressed to district or high school personnel who are authorized to issue the Highest  Ranking Graduate (HRG) award.
 

Instructions for completing the Highest Ranking Graduate forms

 
 Determine the Highest Ranking Graduate recipient. 

  • The calculation to determine the HRG is a local control issue.
  • Each school or district should have a written policy to determine one HRG. 

 Download and complete the 2025-2026 HRG tuition waiver using Adobe. Please print this on your school or district letterhead. 

 Download and complete the 2025-2026 HRG certificate. Please print this on parchment or other quality certificate paper.

 Present both the tuition waiver and certificate to the Highest Ranking Graduate. (Please do not forward these documents to TEA)

   The HRG recipient is responsible for presenting the tuition waiver to the Texas public college or university they choose to attend. The Highest Ranking Graduate certificate is considered ceremonial and should be retained by the student.
