Amendment Request to the State’s Every Student Succeeds Act State Plan

This letter is to notify you of the intent of the Texas Education Agency (TEA) to submit an amendment request to update the language in the Title I, Part C: Education of Migratory Children section of the Every Student Succeeds Act State Plan to reflect current needs and procedures.

Amendment Request

TEA is asking to update the following sections of the state plan:

• The language in the Title I, Part C: Education of Migratory Children to reflect current needs and procedures.

Comment Period

All comments on this proposed amendment are due by Monday, February 21, 2022, by electronic mail addressed to migrant.ed@tea.texas.gov.

Once TEA has reviewed any comments received and has made any appropriate modifications to the proposals, the comments will be submitted to the U.S. Department of Education as part of the state’s request.
