2024 TEA Annual Report Available

Overview

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has released the 2024 Annual Report, sharing a comprehensive overview of Texas public education for policymakers, educators, families and community members. TEA’s Annual Reports provide a detailed and accessible view into the agency’s work ensuring that every one of the more than five million public school students in Texas is prepared for success in college, a career or the military.

The purpose of this correspondence is to inform you that the TEA’s 2024 Annual Report is now available on the agency’s website. 

The 2024 Annual Report spotlights areas of progress based on the agency’s strategic priorities:

• Recruit, Support and Retain Teachers and Principals;
• Build a Foundation of Reading and Math;
• Connect High School to Career and College; and
• Improve Low-Performing Schools. 

Additionally, the report chronicles the effective approaches and inspiring stories of districts meeting their students’ needs.
 
The 2024 Annual Report serves as a vital resource for understanding the current state of education in Texas and the ongoing efforts to provide every student with a high-quality educational experience.
