Educator Certification Summer Phone Hours (June 1 – August 31, 2026) 

Due to increased certification application volume during the summer months, phone support will be available Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–12:00 noon. (CST). Phone: (512) 936-8400 option 2

Outside of these hours, please submit your questions through the TEA Help Desk, and our team will assist you as quickly as possible. Click on a Help Desk icon below to submit your question to TEA staff. Allow several business days for staff to respond to your ticket.

Account Setup 

Educator Certification has created step-by-step instructions to walk educators through the TEA Login (TEAL) and Educator Certification Online System (ECOS) set up and log in process.

As an additional resource, we encourage you to contact your local ESC representative, who may be able to assist you with general certification questions, as well as assist you with login or account creation questions. In addition, the website provides answers to many of these questions.
