2020-2021 Additional Days School Year Planning and Execution Program

The Additional Days School Year Planning and Execution Program will support districts intending to implement a Voluntary Summer Learning program or Full Year Redesign by adding additional instructional days to their academic calendar. Districts selected in the application process will undergo a year-long planning process to plan for ADSY implementation, which will include the designation of a project manager and access to technical assistance vendors to assist with Design & Implementation, Finance & Operations, and Academics components. Following the planning year, districts will have a three-year execution phase. The purpose of the Execution Phase is to provide continuous support to districts so they can effectively monitor program performance, improve programs based on learnings, and ultimately improve outcomes for participating students.
