General Information - SPP Indicator 11
State Performance Plan (SPP) Indicator 11 measures the percentage of children who were evaluated within the state established timeline after receiving informed, written parental consent to evaluate.
The data collection period is July 1 to June 30 of each year. All students, ages 3-21, who were evaluated, had their eligibility determined and had an individualized education program (IEP) developed between July 1 and June 30 should be reported each year during the SPP 11 submission window. Indicator 11 refers to “initial” eligibility determinations made for students ages 3-21.
All districts are required to report data into the SPP 11 application. Access it by logging in through TEAL.
The District Certifier is responsible for ensuring that the data are accurate and therefore, must be knowledgeable of the process. The District Data Entry Agent and District Certifier will enter data collectively when necessary. The District Certifier certifies the data once it is entered and completed. Every district must have a complete and certified status regardless of whether the district has data to enter.
