Rachel Robinson is the Pre-k Partnership Specialist in the Early Childhood Division at the Texas Education Agency. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary/Multi-Cultural Education from the University of Northern Colorado. In her position, Rachel primarily supports the Early Childhood Division’s work with public-private partnerships. Previously she was with the Austin Independent School District Early Childhood Department where she facilitated public-private partnerships between the district, non-profits and childcare providers within the community. She served AISD children and families as a classroom teacher for thirty years. Her teaching experience spans grades PK4 through 3rd Grade, ESL and dual language classes. Rachel’s goal in her role at TEA is to use her years of experience working with young children and her professional skills to expand innovative public and private partnerships that increase access to high quality PreK programs for young children and their families across the state.
