Shared Services Arrangement Procedures

A shared services arrangement (SSA) exists when two or more local education agencies (LEAs) enter into an agreement for the performance and administration of a program. LEAs who enter into a written contract to jointly operate their special education programs as an SSA must follow procedures developed by TEA. SSA members are encouraged to request technical assistance about SSA Procedures from their funding contacts at regional education service centers.
