Social Studies TEKS Streamlining Work Group Drafts

Feedback will be accepted in response to work group drafts throughout the streamlining process. Comments on the drafts will help to inform future work groups’ recommendations. If you provide specific comments and recommendations for a work group, please identify the work group, grade level, and, if applicable, the specific student expectation number that is included in the draft. (For example, grade 1 (1)(A))

    Based on a recommendation from Work Group A, Work Group B was asked to evaluate the list of historical figures in each grade level and course that contain historical figures.
