AUSTIN (Oct. 30, 2019) – Texas 4th graders taking the 2019 National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) in mathematics improved from two years ago, outpacing the national average yet again. Statewide performance in 4th grade reading was also up slightly.
The U.S. Department of Education announced yesterday that 26 public schools nominated by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) have received Blue Ribbon honors for 2019.
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) today released its 2019 state accountability ratings for approximately 1,200 school districts and charter schools. Districts and charters once again received A-F ratings, but new this year are A-F ratings for individual schools.
