    SB 149 Guidance Posted

    The Texas Education Agency posted emergency rules providing guidance on the impact of SB 149 on graduation requirements for students receiving special education services. Guidance about changes to graduation requirements for students served in regular education programs was previously provided.

    Passing Rate 92 Percent for Class of 2015

    Ninety-two percent of students in the Class of 2015 have now successfully completed all exams required for high school graduation.

    Tax Survey Opens

    The 2015 Tax Information Survey is open for data submission from June 1, 2015 until midnight Aug. 31. Completing the survey is important because it allows the agency to use the most accurate tax collections data possible when we calculate 2014–2015 near-final Summary of Finances (SOF) estimates in September 2015.
