The following is an archive of the announcements from Performance Reporting. The most recent postings appear first.

 12/16/2001: Pocket Edition for 2000–01 - This quick reference for education statistics at the state level is now available online.

12/21/2001: Snapshot Giveaway - Surplus copies of some editions of Snapshot are available for free.

12/05/2001: Letter with Early Indicator Reports - This letter accompanied Early Indicator Reports sent to districts. The reports show a prediction of future performance on the new and more difficult tests which will be administered in 2003, using the results from the spring 2001 TAAS administration. The reports can be viewed on the web by using the links at the bottom of the letter.

12/5/2001: School Report Cards for 2000–01 - School Report Cards are available online for every public school in Texas. These reports provide a small subset of the information available in the AEIS reports. Schools are required to provide a copy of their School Report Card to the parent or guardian of each student. The SRCs can be accessed through the AEIS webpage, by year (i.e. AEIS 2000–01).

11/15/2001: 2000–01 Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS) reports - The AEIS reports provide the most comprehensive view of performance for every school, district, region, and the state. The reports also include descriptive information about students, staff, and finances.

10/9/2001: Updates to 2001 Accountability Ratings - These are the final ratings for 2001. They reflect changes that resulted from appeals.

8/16/2001: 2001 Accountability Ratings - Includes ratings for every public school and district in the state along with data tables showing the information used to determine the ratings. For the first time attendance is not a base indicator and was not used in determining accountability ratings. It is now an Additional Acknowledgment.

5/1/2001: Snapshot 2000 - Snapshot for the 1999–2000 school year is now on the web.

4/20/2001: 2001 Accountability Manual - (HTML version) This manual provides detailed information on how the 2001 accountability ratings will be computed. Those ratings will be released on August 16, 2001.

8/17/2000: 2000 Accountability Ratings - Includes ratings for every public school and district in the state along with data tables showing the information used to determine the ratings. For the first time we are showing Additional Acknowledgment for Recommended High School Program.

5/4/2000: Related Sites - This new site provides links to additional financial information about Texas public school districts. It also provides links to national organizations that report financial and performance information on Texas and other states. Related Sites replaces Other Products.

4/11/2000: 2000 Accountability Manual - This manual provides detailed information on how the 2000 accountability ratings will be computed. Those ratings will be released in mid-August.

4/11/2000: Snapshot '99 - Snapshot for the 1998-99 school year is now on the web.

2/16/2000: Updates on Accountability Ratings for 1999 - This website was updated after investigations led to a change of rating for a few schools. Ratings for 1999 are now considered final. The ratings changes are also reflected on the AEIS reports for 1998–99.
